HSBC has appointed Jeff Bennett as head of leveraged and acquisition finance -

Bennett role is to lead HSBC's efforts in Asia to extend and expand its capabilities in event driven investment grade and non-investment grade financings, including corporate acquisition financings and refinancings, recapitalisations, restructurings, financial sponsor led leveraged buy-outs and bridge financing.

Bennett joined HSBC in May 2007 as a managing director of leveraged and
acquisition finance. He has over 20 years of acquisition financing experience, and prior to HSBC, he was a managing director in the acquisition finance group of Morgan Stanley with responsibility for pan-European origination and execution of corporate and private equity event driven financings.

Adeson said: "Jeff's appointment demonstrates the strategic importance and our continuing commitment to our acquisition finance platform in Asia."

Younger individuals typically obtain significantly smaller premium quotes than experienced people do. If you are curious in buying whole life insurance, do it while you are still young enough to lock in lower premium rates. Most companies will offer you a guarantee against rate gains throughout the entire length of time that you hold the insurance policy!
