UBS has appointed Anne Anderson as the new head of fixed income, Asia Pacific.
Anderson will be based in Australia and will also continue to head Australian fixed income. Her responsibilities include expanding fixed income activities in the region with the support of eight research and asset management professionals.
Anderson said Japan and Hong Kong were very well resourced for expansion capabilities, and that there were plenty of opportunities available while the capital market expanded.
Anderson has been with UBS since 1993 and was head of fixed income, Australia since 2004.
Prior to her appointment, the position was held by Stuart Piper. He left the company a year ago.
