DB PWM hires new head of private banking

Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management (DB PWM) has appointed Kwong Kin Mun as head of private banking, Southeast Asia.


PWM, with effect from 21 December 2009.
Kwong will be based in Singapore, and will be responsible for the strategic direction of Deutsche PWM's Southeast Asia business and leading a team of over 100 staff in servicing the needs of the Bank's client base of wealthy families and entrepreneurs in Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia.


He takes up his new role on 21 December and will report directly to Ravi Raju, head of Deutsche Bank PWM, Asia Pacific.


Commenting on the appointment, Raju said: "Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management in Asia has grown rapidly by leveraging the Bank's strong investment banking platform and offering unique services for entrepreneurs which cater for both personal and enterprise needs.


"With Kin Mun's valuable banking experience, he will provide stewardship to further our 'One Bank' vision for the Southeast Asia franchise, and continue to address the complex needs of the region's high net worth investors with his team of talented employees."


Kwong joins Deutsche Bank PWM from DBS Private Bank in Singapore, where he was head of private banking, South Asia.
